Start of spring day (Li Chun), means spring come back, it is the start of lunar year. The temperature become warmer day by day.
Customs – Chinese New Year is celebrated around this time. Farmers often celebrate the beginning of Lichun with special village events, worship and offerings to the gods and ceremonies for a blissful and prosperous new year. In China, people eat Spring Cake (Chun Bing) on this day.

Awakening of insects day (Jing Zhe), by the temperature higher and higher, the worms awake. Ancient farmers believe worms awake by the thunder.
Customs – This solar term is about worms and thunder, and people worry about worm and thunder. There is no custom on today, but in HongKong, people will hit the bad man in that day. The bad man not real person, just a doll, it seems a voodoo doll.
